Dear Neighbors,

We hope everyone is having a great start to 2025!  Below is some important information regarding the OWCA Board’s plans for this year.

Annual Meeting.   Thanks to everyone who attended the Annual Meeting and Fall Party in October!  We are pleased to welcome the following board members for 2025. We are also seeking new board members for 2026 as a number of us have been on the Board for many years. Please let us know if you are interested!

Beautification. In 2024, the OWCA was able to contribute to and complete beautification projects throughout the neighborhood in conjunction with the Westham Garden Club and Henrico County. If you have suggestions for any new beautification projects, please send an email to the Board.  As always, we appreciate your input!

OWCA Spring Party.  We look forward to more opportunities to gather as a neighborhood.  We will hold our annual Spring Party for families on Sunday, April 27th from 4:30 to 7:30pm at the Kanawha Recreation Association Pavilion.  A follow up communication will be sent to email addresses we have on file.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Don’t Forget To Pay Your Dues and Update Your Contact Information!  We are accepting annual dues for 2025!  The Board determined to hold dues steady at $75. As customary, the dues are used primarily for the maintenance of Westham Parkway (aeration, seeding, treatments, tree replacements), other improvements to the neighborhood’s common areas, social events, and charitable donations to the Tuckahoe Rescue Squad.  Last year, 160 households contributed, which is in line with the past few years and a little over half of the households our footprint. Let’s get this number up in 2025!

Checks can be made out to Old Westham Civic Association and mailed to our treasurer, Michael Larkum, at 412 Westham Parkway, Henrico, VA 23229.  You can also pay online at https://oldwestham.square.site (note: website is in the process of being updated for 2025, please ignore references to 2024) or bring a check for your dues to the Spring Party.  Also, if you haven’t checked out the online directory on our website yet, now is a good time to make sure OWCA has your correct contact information. If you need to make any changes (street address, new family members, e-mail, phone number), please send an email describing the changes to oldwesthamboard@gmail.com.
